Fill the Boot - 2023 Check Presentation 

Waukesha Fire Fighters Charities and Waukesha Professional Fire Fighters - IAFF Local 407 was grateful to participate in the annual Fill the Boot campaign for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. With that being said, the 2023 Fill the Boot campaign has officially come to a close. Waukesha Fire Fighters Charities cannot express how thankful we are for all of the help we received from our members, Waukesha Fire Department, and the community. With this year's donations, we were able to donate approximately $5,012 to MDA. We had great success in pairing up with all three of the Culvers in the City of Waukesha on June 14th. Each Culver's location in the city donated 10% of their sales between the hours of 11:00 am - 7:00 pm. We had support from the Grandview Blvd Culvers, East Main St Culvers, and the Sunset Dr Culvers. We had 3 to 4 off-duty members at each Culvers walking around with boots to fill and we assisted in helping serve food. We also had each of our five stations stop with apparatus for the children, and order food if they wanted. We would also like to extend a thank you to the Waukesha Fire Fighters Charities for donating an additional $2100 towards FTB this year. Our Local, Waukesha Fire Fighters Charities, and City of Waukesha Fire Department have already received great feedback from each Culver's location and all of them have expressed interest in doing the same fundraiser next year.
